Child Safety Standards

Ganja Mingle is a strict 21+ cannabis community and dating platform. Minors are not permitted on the service under any circumstance. We operate a zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, and any content or behavior that endangers a minor.

Our Commitments

Industry-standard safeguards built into every layer of Ganja Mingle — from sign-up, to moderation, to how we cooperate with law enforcement.

01

Strict 21+ Age Gate

Every account must confirm they are at least 21 years old at sign-up. Date of birth is collected and validated against our minimum-age rule before an account is created. Accounts that cannot credibly meet this bar are removed.

02

Proactive Moderation

Profile photos, posts, comments, events, communities, and direct messages are subject to review by our trust and safety team. Suspected CSAM or grooming activity is removed on sight and the account is suspended pending full review.

03

User-Empowered Safety

Every member has one-tap access to report and block tools on every surface of the app. Reports are reviewed by humans — not just algorithms — and reporters stay anonymous.

04

NCMEC Reporting

Any confirmed or suspected CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline, in line with 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and preserved for law enforcement.

05

Law Enforcement Cooperation

We respond promptly to lawful requests from law enforcement and preserve relevant account data when investigating suspected exploitation of minors.

06

Continuous Improvement

Our policy is reviewed on an ongoing basis. Staff handling trust and safety receive regular updates on evolving CSAE tactics and platform best practices.

Safety Tools Built Into Ganja Mingle

These are the protective features every member can use right now — not a wishlist. If you see anything that endangers a minor, use them.

Block a user

Instantly cut off all contact. Blocked users can no longer message you, view your profile, comment on your posts, or join your events. Available from any profile via the ••• menu.

Report a profile

Report any user you suspect is a minor, is impersonating a minor, or is soliciting or grooming minors. Submissions go directly to our trust and safety team for human review.

Report a post

Every community post on Ganja Mingle has a report action. Use it for any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor — including suggestive imagery, CSAM, or grooming language.

Report a comment

Every comment on posts, communities, events, and higher-learning threads can be reported individually. Comments that violate child safety standards are removed immediately.

Report an event

Both online and in-person events can be reported. We remove any event that targets, invites, or puts minors at risk — including events advertised outside our 21+ standard.

Report a community

Entire communities can be reported if they are being used to target minors or distribute prohibited content. Community admins who enable this behavior lose their privileges and accounts.

Report a message

Direct messages can be reported the moment something feels wrong. Grooming, solicitation, or CSAM sent via chat triggers an immediate account review.

Report Child Safety Concerns

If you encounter any content, account, or behavior on Ganja Mingle that may sexually exploit, endanger, or target a minor — report it. You do not need to be certain. Our team will investigate every report.

In-app report

Tap the ••• menu on any profile, post, comment, event, community, or message and select Report. Choose the category that best describes the concern.

Email trust & safety

info@canect.com — include a link or username, a short description, and any screenshots you are comfortable sharing.

Report to NCMEC (U.S.)

Anyone can also report CSAM directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or by calling 1-800-843-5678.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first (911 in the U.S.). Platform reports should be filed in addition to — not instead of — emergency help.

Standards We Follow

  • Google Play Families / CSAE Policy — we prohibit, detect, and report CSAM and any content that facilitates CSAE, in line with Google Play's developer policies.
  • Apple App Store Review Guidelines 1.1 & 1.2 — Ganja Mingle is an adult-oriented, strict 21+ platform and is not designed or marketed to children.
  • 18 U.S.C. § 2258A — we report apparent CSAM to the NCMEC CyberTipline and preserve relevant data for law enforcement.
  • Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) — we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13, and our service is strictly restricted to users aged 21+.
  • Industry best practices — proactive moderation, human review of reports, in-product reporting on every content type, immediate takedown on confirmed violations, and permanent account removal with no right of appeal.
